Tips for Learning New Languages

A few years ago, I spent some time learning French. My method involved nothing more than using an audio course I found at Barnes and Noble. I didn’t get very far.

The commute on the train gave me time to listen to the lessons. Unfortunately, once I started working on an MBA degree, I had less time to study the language.

Here is an article citing many resources for learning a new language if you no longer have the option of taking high school or college world languages classes. The author shares what has worked for him and offers suggestions on how to make the most out of the resources available.
