Almost Sunset at Laguna

This is one of my favorite shots from my last visit to California. The setting is ten minutes prior to sunset at Laguna Beach. The subject is, of course, the Pacific Ocean, but the back of my friend’s head also appears within the frame. I’m particularly attracted to the reddish tint the setting sun gives to whatever its rays touch.
